Big brave manja independent girl

Dear Nadia,

As i watch you lull yourself to sleep tonight i realised how grown up you are. You were moving your fingers in the air as if they were ballerina dancers in a concert or counting the stars and a few minutes pass by, you turned your body, hugged your daddy and fell asleep.. You are so grown up. You dont need me to lull you to sleep by patting on your thighs anymore. Sometimes according to your daddy, you pat him to sleep! You are a big girl now..

Not only are you a big girl, you are also a brave one! A few times i went downstairs to take something you tell me to go ahead and leave you in the room alone as you want to watch the cartoon. On a few occasions we were downstairs and suddenly you disappear only to find you were in our room alone, watching tv. You are a big brave girl now.

But this big brave girl is still the manja girl we know and love. When you wake up and your Daddy is not there you cry saying that you want to kiss your daddy. Poor daddy had to turn around this morning and kiss you goodbye.

You also showed me you can take showers on your own and also clean yourself after you pee pee and poo poo. You are a big brave manja and independent girl now.

I am so very proud of you. However baby girl, you will need to be more compassionate to your baby sister. I love watching you play with Sofie and how you are so loving to each other by showering each other with hugs and kisses. And i also know it must annoy you that Sofie wants whatever to play or hold. Please know that she wants to be just like YOU! Her big brave manja and independent kaka. So teach her well and let her have her way once a while. Ok?

When i was younger i wished i had a sister and when i had Sofiyya i was very very happy to know that my daughters will have a sister. My daughters will grow up to have someone to share everything with. I pray that you both will be close forever. Please teach your adik well. Guide her and love her.

I love you both so very much and i pray that Allah will grant me a long and healthy life so i can watch you both grow up to be beautiful young ladies, get married and have children of your own. Ameen..

Be good now kaka..

Xoxo,
Mummy
