Happy 15 months!

'Dear Baby Girl,

Happy 15 months my darling. I was going thru photos in my phone and I saw the very first photo your daddy sent out to family and friends and I saw a video of you kana azan kan.. Can’t believe that was 15 months ago!

So we took you to the clinic for your check up and You are 77cm in height and 7.850kg in weight.. The nurses and Dr told us that your weight is at the edge of the line, borderline to becoming under-weight. I never thought this would become a problem, considering I was never a small girl myself.. So maybe your petite size came from your Daddy’s side. But nevermind that, lets talk about what we are going to do.. Your next appointment is in 3 months time and that’s when the Dr will decide whether to refer you to the dietician or not. So baby girl, you gotta start to eat up okay.. And once you are over your cold, we shall put you in the multi-vitamins again okay…

We think you have learnt so much in the past month.. You also now have a daily routine. When you wake up each morning you will say 'Daddy' and when your Daddy refuses to wake up you will start climbing him and poking his eyes, ears and nose. Once you get him up, he will then switch on the TV for you for your 'Toon' time. You particularly love watching Barney.. Once Mummy and Daddy is done getting ready we go downstairs and you will sit with us during breakfast. Then its wave bye-bye time but not before we tell you that we are going to work and be a good girl. And in the evenings, you never fail to sit with us during dinner. hehe One of the most recent activity that we are trying to add to your daily routine is brushing your own teeth in the morning and before we go to bed.. hehe Keep up the good job baby girl..

We have also taken you out for a swim in the last month and we were quite surprised that you enjoyed the water slide.. haha Soon my dear, we will go for a swim again okay. 

One of the funny moments recentl was that you woke up particularly early that morning and I was trying to put you down to sleep again by feeding you then you pulled my shirt down and said 'tup tup'.. That sure woke me up! hahaha You are so witty and its amazing how you can catch both of us off-guard with your tiny expressions, actions and words.. 

You may have noticed that there is more 'ball' shows in TV lately.. Its the world cup season my love and it lasts for a month. Dont worry, this doesnt happen every year, once every 4 year saja so just put up with Daddy while he watch his football okay.

Ok be a good girl now and get well soon my love. Eat up so that we don't have to see the dietician okay. Love you lots and lots!

My little girl has discovered Famous Amos cookiesss! and this is how she looks like after she finishes one! Sugar rush much? HAHA

I think I mentioned before that I have been getting comments or people asking me when am I going to introduce Formula to Dia and the fact that my BM production seems to be dwindling down *booo hoooo*, has got me thinking about options for the future. So I have been asking friends around on which Formula is preferred and whats the normal price for these formulas. Yesterday I was talking to a friend (hi R!!) and how she has now opted to introduce Fresh milk rather than Formula milk to her toddler. Now THIS got interesting for me.. hehe Googled it and found these 2 websites which i find very interesting..

Although I am still 100% fore BFing my lil girl and am still continuing to pursue my 2 year goal by popping fenugreek pills, eating rice like there is not tomorrow and expressing diligently, its nice to know I have options. hehe

Breast-feeding is not a choice,but an obligation to the choice.

Ola peeps! How's your Monday so far? Mine has been blue.. And I think its because part of my weekend was spent doing chores that's why.. huhu

Saturday was spent going here and there with my parents in prep for big brother's wedding..

On Sun we headed to the Hubs' cousin's wedding and decided not to bring the little girl along.. too hot for her (and Mummy too but Mummy has to go).. It seems like we have functions to go to for the next 4 weeks and then it will be big brother's wedding.. huhuhu the later part of the afternoon was spent sorting out the hubs' closet.. who ever said girl have more clothes then men has never met my hubs pasal banyakkk baju nya! hahaha

Ok back to work.. Will upload photos from my Dad's mini celebration tomorrow.. Left the memory card at home! hehe

My Dad turns 63 todayy

My Hero turns 63 todayy... So happy birthday Dad! We wish you the best of health and prosperity.. We love you lots and lots and hope you enjoy the mini-celebration we are putting together tonite!!

One thing I will do tonight besides eat and enjoy the company of my siblings and their children is take more photos with them. I was looking for a photo of me and my dad and couldn't find any.. so take more photos with my parents and family.. hehe

I survived another board meeting yesterday *alhamdulilah*.. Have to admit my nerves were less this time around.. Was even on the verge of being complacent as I did not revise before my pre-board meeting.. as a result.. angaaaapp.. HAHA accroding to a colleague it was not that obvious *phew* lessons to take away, lain kali reviseee! HAHA

one year ago, the pantry and I got better aquainted

One year ago today was my first day back to work from Maternity Leave.. One year ago I had puffy eyes from crying while driving.. and it has been one year since I first started expressing in the pantry.. hahaha

i recently received comments or people asking me how much longer am I going to BF Nadia or when am I going to introduce FM to the little girl. My reply to them is either 'I don't know' or 'I'll BF for as long as I can'.. To be honest I am not prepared to introduce other milk to my little girl yet.. Do I sound selfish? maybe I am.. tapikannnnn.. research says that BM has a lot of merits and why would I want to discount all those merit from her.. besides I've done this for the past 14 months, I can do this for another 10 months.. hehehe
