the actual event was held at 4pm so we had discussions with different disciplines throughtout the morning and early part of the afternoon.

This is where they will lay the keel.. You would think that they just place the bed saja2 but no.. those tiny blocks where the keel sits is strategically placed there to ensure that the weight of the vessel is well supported.

Then the DSME guys weld the two block together
then two blocks become one!
This thing is called a transporter! It basically moves the blocks from one side of the shipyard to another. I find it COOL! (GEEK! haha)
